A three theatre/convention/exhibition facility for the people of Northland.
The seating capacity of the theatre will be 400 seats, the convention hall will seat 400 people and the external coverable exhibition garden will seat 800 people plus a second performing stage.
The Construction
The first stage of the building was recently completed and officially opened by New Zealand
Prime Minister, Helen Clark on the 5th of August. Among the many positive comments
made were compliments to Martyn Evans for a design which “stimulates people to think”.
